Great post! Just wanted to tell you that although I’m a native speaker, and I too have had that experience. Sometimes the English word is ready to come out and I can’t find the Spanish equivalent… or I just say it in English because I know I will get the “I have no clue what you’re talking about” stare from my kids…
Kudos to you for raising your son bilingual!
BTW, since I’m in Orlando too, do you know of any summer camps or something similar where they do Spanish immersion?
